CSP Products Billet Distributor Clamp for VW Type-1 engines 12–1600 cc (from 34 hp).
Our CSP Products ignition distributor clamp for the VW Type-1 engine is milled from solid block on a modern 5-axis CNC machining center at our facility in Bargteheide.
During the design process, we placed particular emphasis on achieving the most refined design possible while ensuring reliable clamping of the distributor. Installation is the same as for the original part—existing studs do not need to be removed or modified.
Another detail is the specially manufactured mounting nut. It has the original 10-mm wrench size but features an extra-long head. This makes it significantly easier to access with a tool.
After CNC machining, the aluminum clamp is anodized. The anodized coating protects the surface while also providing a high-quality, durable finish.
